Thank you to everyone who has shown such excitement and support for The Quilter’s Planner that’s available for pre-order on Indiegogo!
We hit our Stage 1 funding goal within one day and I am feeling so grateful. Everyone has shown such excitement about the project, telling me how much they need something like The Quilter’s Planner in their lives. It has filled me with a new energy and desire to make this planner available to everyone I can reach in the community. So thank you for continuing to share this project with your quilting friends, and for your overwhelming support. We are all on pace to have an organized and creatively inspired 2016!
To show my thanks, I am having a giveaway this week!
I had fun shopping over at the Fat Quarter Shop last night for the giveaway; I selected a fat quarter bundle of beautiful Kona Cotton solids in my favorite color palette, aquas and teals. To enter, please give me a follow on Instagram @latenightquilter, sign up for my email list, or just share this post with someone through the social media buttons at the top of my blog. Many of you have already done these things, and I send you hugs and gratitude. Just leave me a comment below letting me know that you’ve entered the giveaway. I will select a winner on Sunday evening, November 1st at 8 pm.
I love how the quilting community is a powerful force to be reckoned with– if you go to the Design Tab on Indiegogo, the Quilter’s Planner is featured as a trending campaign! I think the people over at Indiegogo probably just sat up and noticed the quilting community and realized how powerful they are. We are a niche community that rocks the world.
A Note About the Indiegogo Campaign:
The Indiegogo pre-order campaign will be active until November 30th at midnight. The planners will be shipped out during the first and second weeks of December.
On another fun note, today I have a guest post over at at Sew Mama Sew – 5 Tips for Achieving an Accurate Seam Allowance! I hope this article is a useful reference tool for you. If you’re a member of The Late Night Quilter’s Club on Facebook, or a friend on Instagram, and you shared your thoughts on seam allowances with me, I thank you for widening my understanding of the challenges we all face as we fine-tune our sewing skills.
